Moms Club Of Fillmore
The MOMS Club, a national
non-profit organization, has
a chapter here in Fillmore
for mothers who stay home
with their children during
the day. Activities include
outings, playgroups,
speakers, community service
projects, and mom's night
out. Children are welcome at
all times. Please call

information.
Shiells Park
Shiells Park is available
for weddings, meetings,
parties, group barbecues,
receptions, baptisms, sports
activities or other special
events. Rental fees vary
depending on the activity
with reservations available
on a first-come,
first-served basis. The park
has an attractive playground
area for kids.
Reservations should be made
at least one month in
advance by individuals and
groups. The large picnic
facilities (2 located at
Shiells Park) have eight
tables under a covered
shelter and are in high
demand especially during
peak periods such as
weekends, holidays and
school vacation.

Fillmore Little League
Baseball
Fillmore Little League is
one of the many Fillmore
youth organizations that
provides hours of fun and
discipline for local youth.
Sign-ups and tryouts are
held in January and opening
day is in March. The regular
season runs through June

Fillmore Girls Softball
features age divisions for
girls 5-14. Fillmore High
has always been very strong
in girls softball due
largely to its very good

American Youth Soccer
Organization (AYSO)
AYSO provides a friendly

each four-hour class.

Co-ed leagues twice a year.
The Spring league

Introduction To Dance –
Ballet & Tap Combo
This class will introduce
the movement and terminology
that are the basics of
ballet and tap dance.
Students should wear
leotards and tights if

Mondays. Cost for the
four-week course is $18.00.
Classes are held at the

Beginning Tap Dance

the basic steps and skills
of tap dance with an
emphasis on rhythm. Students

clothing. Tap shoes are

Gymnastics/Tumbling
