Homelessness
Homelessness is a humanitarian crisis that impacts every community and cooperatively addressing homelessness is a City Council priority.
Our charge is to serve as a convener, provide community leadership, and develop and implement strategies that link people with resources. We work to enforce local regulations; and to help businesses and residents understand homelessness, their role, ways to contribute, and how law enforcement can help.
While the City does not provide direct services, we work closely with local and regional service providers.
FIND LOCAL RESOURCES
We are committed to maintaining the quality of life our residents expect. We partner with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other agencies to provide support on a path to self-sufficiency and aggressively deter unwanted and unlawful behaviors. We are committed to making resources available to those in need who want and will accept help.
